WASHINGTON, DC: Doshu Shintaku and TSIR students participated in the International Shinto Foundation's open house. The afternoon was a wonderful way to learn about the spirit of Japan and the Japanese people. The events began with a welcome and sacred shrine dance. of a purification ceremony by Shinto Priest Otagaki; Ikebana (flower arranging) performance, Shinto Spirit in Martial Arts by Doshu Shintaku and ends with a performance of the Japanese tea ceremony.
