Fiesta Asia is the annual Asian American Heritage Festival in the District of Columbia presented by Asia Heritage Foundation. Mark your calendars for this month-long celebration commemorating the rich and diverse heritage of America's Asian community.

officially named "Ten Shin Ichi Ryu Day" by the City of Gaithersburg, and Mayor Sidney A. Katz.
At our annual seminar, Mayor Sidney Katz bestowed Doshu Shintaku with an official proclamation which designated April 19, 2008 as Ten Shin Ichi Ryu Day.
"in special honor and recognition of Doshu Shiro Shintaku and his commitment to teaching cultural understanding, international cooperation, non-aggressive self-defense and discipline through a martial arts and training system that focuses on mental and physical development, promoting health and happiness."
Please join us in thanking Mayor Katz and the Cit of Gaithersburg for this honor.

Ten Shin Ichi Ryu has been very busy this year! We've been fortunate enough to have many opportunities to share the traditional Japanese martial arts. Our many thanks to all those who made everything possible by volunteering their talents and time. Please take a moment to view our photo gallery.

Doshu Shiro Shintaku and TSIR students hold demonstrations at a variety of events, including the National Cherry Blossom Festival and Fiesta Asia in Washington DC; participated in a community open house for Montgomery County; explained the relationship between martial arts (sword) and Shinto at the International Shinto Foundation open house; and held our annual Ten Shin Ichi Ryu seminar weekend with Motoo Yamakura Hanshi (Goju Karate) and S. Castoro Hanshi (Ju Jitsu).
Ten Shin Ichi Ryu and its mark are protected by US Trademark Laws. Unauthorized use of either of the Ten Shin Ichi Ryu name or mark is prohibited by law.
