Mighty Mites (Ages 3-6)

The Mighty Mites program offers Youth a strong foundation in basics such as: courtesy, respect, discipline, following directions, and increased motor skills. These are traits that all parents want for their kids. By teaching these skills in fun and exciting ways, we can help them develop into future leaders.

Our Mighty Mites program is designed to encourage social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth in kids. Preschool kids have a very short attention span, short term and selective memories, very little socialization skills, and lack courtesy, respect and discipline. What these preschoolers lack is what we specialize in teaching. We help by placing an emphasis on developing motor skills, eye/hand coordination, social skills, and attention building.

Mighty Mites Classes
Mondays @ 6:00— 6:30 (1/2 hour is good for these little ones)

Youth Program (Ages 6-12)

The Youth Program makes a difference because Kids learn how to follow directions, pay attention in class, and participate in classroom activities. Our Youth's Program dramatically improves concentration, which pays off with better grades in school. All of this is accomplished in a positive, safe, and fun environment that Youth anticipate each week.

Self-Confidence - It doesn't come naturally for many children, but rather is developed over a period of time. As a child accomplishes new goals, his or her confidence level increases. Children become more confident in their martial arts ability because they progress individually at their own pace and are not judged against others.

Self-Defence - Self-defence takes many forms. The martial arts teaches children to think instead of panic in potentially serious situations as well as how to react to threats from other kids.

Better Grades - Being in our Youth Program also means being a better student. All kids in the Youth program learn skills, such as following directions, paying attention in class and participate in class activities that help them to become better students.

Every Youth Wins - In the martial arts every kid can be a winner instead of a bench sitter because the martial arts allows children to reach their own potential rather than directly competing against other kids.

Coordination - The martial arts challenges the entire body, developing coordination, balance, agility and poise, often neglected in many team sports available to youth in this age group.

Fun - Our martial arts lessons are dynamic. The Program is designed to challenge all children who are athletic, energetic, awkward or shy, bold, nice or maybe even a little wild once in a while. Antaya’s martial arts is probably for a kid just like yours.
