Join us for the 2008 TSIR Spring Seminar. The 2008 seminar will have special sessions in sword, kendo and other traditional weapons including fan. Instruction in Ten Shin Ichi Ryu and Go Ju Ryu Karate with Shiro Shintaku, Doshu (TSIR), and Motoo Yamakura, Hanshi (Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Kyokai). Each instructor has over 40 years of martial arts experience. With an extensive background in both Japan and the US, Doshu Shintaku is the founder of TSIR, Yamakura Hanshi is the head of the Goju-Ryu Karate Do Kyokai. Assistant instructors to be announced.
We've moved the seminar to the Bohrer Park Recreational Center. Our host hotel is the Courtyard Gaithersburg Washingtonian Center. Please contact the TSIR office with any questions you may have.

Special sessions
These sessions have been developed for those students who are planning on earning their black belts in Ten Shin Ichi Ryu. The sessions will delve deeper into TSIR content, and requirements you'll need to know in order to test and progress in TSIR.
These sessions are an additional $35.
Space is limited, so reserve early. You'll need to make reservations for one of the two times offered directly with the TSIR Office or Doshu Shintaku.
Session 1: 2:30pm to 4:00pm and
Session 2: 4:00pm to 5:30pm
Testing at TSIR Honbu dojo.
*Only those testing should plan on coming to the Honbu dojo in Kensington. Do not arrive late for this testing time slot.

Special sessions are an optional choice for those who have paid for the entire weekend of training.
If you are not signed up for the entire seminar weekend, you may register for this session separately for a fee of $60.
Group Dinner:
Please plan on attending a group dinner Saturday evening at Guapos Mexican Restaurant on the waterfront at Washingtonian Center. Let us know at registration if you'll be attending.
